The location was marvellous, a couple of blocks away from Pont Fortificat. Moreover, it was adjacent to the supermarket before having a glass of wine and being unable to drive, the library, and the old roman bridge leading into old Besalu. Thoroughly enjoyed the way our guest room was. The price was US$ 103.

the location was stunning for walking around a romanesque bridge. the room was a decent size with extremely comfy beds and a great balcony and a lounge. super-friendly staff did a great job.

Everything was modern, very polite staff, magnificent views right out onto Besalu's medieval bridge and the town. Enjoyed the restaurant for dinner. I had very comfortable days staying at this classic old hotel.

One of the best things about this hotel is its amazing location. It is situated right across-and-on the ancient pedestrian bridge crossing the El Fluvia river, providing lovely views over the village of Besalu. It's the perfect base to explore Besalu for the day. In addition to the great location, the rooms at this hotel are functional and offer a lovely view of the bridge and the village. They are also quite spacious, clean, and nicely updated. I particularly loved the huge room I stayed in, with its gorgeous view. The hotel also offers complimentary water and a fridge, which is perfect for those hot days. The common spaces have a charming and personal touch, with beautiful artwork and terraces perfect for enjoying breakfast or simply relaxing with a good book. Speaking of breakfast, it was absolutely delightful. With fresh breads, local cheese and ham, fruits, juices, and coffee, it was a delicious spread that left me fully satisfied. I also appreciated that breakfast was served until 12 noon, allowing for a leisurely start to the day.

This hotel had everything I needed for a wonderful stay. The location was perfect - just steps away from the medieval town area and right across from the famous bridge. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the facilities were clean and well-maintained. I especially enjoyed the breakfast, which was fresh and delicious.

Location was perfect for accessing the nearby bridge and other attractions. , the breakfast served was delicious and satisfying.

The room was a bit of a letdown, smelling strongly of soap and the beds were not very comfortable. The staff's lack of knowledge on open restaurants was frustrating as well.
